Timoty Leonardi

Consultant, The Lazarus Project
Project Manager at the Biblioteca Capitolare in Verona

 

Timoty was Curator of Manuscripts and Rare Books at the Biblioteca Capitolare in Vercelli from 2010 to 2019, and then Director until January 2021. He is a co-founder of AMALIA, an Association for the safeguard and promotion of archive and library collections.

He also has been a teacher at the Arts and Media Academy of Novara of Comunicazione e valorizzazione delle collezioni museali and Museologia e gestione dei sistemi espositivi.

Currently, Timoty is Project Manager and Executive Editor of the project "Legature antiche e di pregio in Piemonte", promoted by the Soprintendenza Beni Librari of the Piedmont Region. He has participated in several conferences and has published several articles on the history of books, paper trade and the study of bookbindings.

Timoty is a consultant of the Lazarus Project for the multispectral imaging project of the library. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Società Storica Vercellese and of the Council of the "Bernstein Project. The Memory of Paper". He is part of several scientific-museum research projects with other cultural and university realities in Italy and abroad.          [ more contributors -> ]
